Students and staff at @GradenHornets hosted a @HarvestersORG Food Drive recently and collected more than 3,000 items including food staples, household essentials, and personal hygiene products. The Hornets have done this for six years. #ParkHillCares
We learned about the journey of water and stormwater runoff with @KCMOwater this afternoon. We learned strategies to eliminate pollution in the stormwater. Kansas City has 6.4 billion gallons of stormwater runoff each year!
Author, illustrator and English Landing Elementary mom Danielle Williams stopped by the school to read her book, "Hitch a Ride on the Color Express.” She also gave the school an original illustration from her book and donated a few copies of the book to the school library.
