White Mike Music Review

This is truly how I feel about these tracks and albums and I won't let the public sway me.

@Warbucks65 @foreveralonzo93 @XXL @richbrian @88rising Why is that relevant

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

@HeckleyReacts @Eminem I agree with you, but I feel it's nothing special on a truly special album. Nothing really popped out at me like most other tracks.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

@HaywireVessel I loved the first verse so much but the hook actually caused my ears to bleed. That "FRAAAAAMEEEEED" scheme/flow made me want to shut the album off on every listen. I really hoped it would grow on me but it didn't.

Album: #ToPimpAButterfly
Artist: @kendricklamar
Rating: 9.5/10
Favorite: u
Least: Complexion
Note: One of the greatest albums ever made. The jazz infused beats with relevant and interesting lyrics make this such a classic. Words cannot express why this album is so good.

Album: #DAMN
Artist: @kendricklamar
Rating: 8/10
Favorite: XXX.
Least: LOVE.
Note: DAMN. was somewhat underwhelming after the modern classic that was TPAB. However he mixed trendy beats with crazy good lyrics and was a still great album. I think Kendrick sang too much on here.

Artist: @Drake
Single: Scary Hours
Rating: 5/10
Favorite: Diplomatic Immunity
Least: God’s Plan
Note: Drake dropped two pop songs. They sound like they were just tracks cut out of Views. If Drake has an album on the way I hope that he can show his rapping side. Unlike More Life.

Album: #YouWillRegret
Artist: @THESLUMPGOD
Rating: 6.5/10
Favorite: Babywipe
Least: Bird Is The Word
Note: Ski’s quick flows and ridiculous but still clever bars that will make you rewind just to make sure you heard him right gives this album lots of personality and replay value.

Mixtape: #Hellboy
Artist: @Lilpeep
Rating: 8.5/10
Favorite: Hellboy
Least: Red Drop Shawty
Note: Lil Peep’s biggest tape was also his best. He pioneered the genre of emo rap into mainstream and this album will be more than his legacy. This will be remembered. #RIPLilPeep

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #MarshallMathersLP
Rating: 9/10
Favorite: Drug Ballad/Criminal
Least: Kim
Note: I genuinely like every song on this album. The features, the skits, the jokes, the anger. It all fits together so perfectly. His best album from beginning to end.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #TheEminemShow
Rating: 8.5/10
Favorite: Sing For The Moment
Least: Square Dance
Note: This is how he could mix politics and seriousness with the goofy lyrics and flows unlike Revival and Recovery. If only he could attack Trump like he could Bush.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #SlimShadyLP
Rating: 8/10
Favorite: Role Model
Least: Brain Damage
Note: This album is fantastic. From the crazy lyrics and flows to the hilarious skits it’s an all around classic and really shows why he got so famous.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #MarshallMathersLP2
Rating: 6/10
Favorite: Love Game
Least: Stronger Than I Was
Note: The strong use of samples is what gives a modern touch to an Eminem album with many recalls to old eminem songs. The lyrics and flow are reminiscent to his best days.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #Recovery
Rating: 5/10
Favorite: Cold Wind Blows
Least: W.T.P.
Note: The first album from sober Em is a disappointing one. The lyrics are subpar in cleverness but definitely add another element of realism which changes the landscape like no other from him.

[White Mike Music Review @OCsMusicReview]

Artist: @Eminem
Album: #Encore
Rating: 3.5/10
Favorite: Mockingbird
Least: Just Lose It
Note: The two serious songs on this album just so happen to be the only two good ones. This was not a good album at all. The worst fall from grace in Eminem’s career.
