@andyhowellsport The annoying thing is Ireland did exactly the same on the first weekend and got stuffed in the first half, but realised second half and changed tactic. Tactics changed too late when J Evans came on.
@philsteele1 Beard does the nuts and bolts well, but Wales need a carrying second row. It’s either DJ or Beard in the starting line up with an athletic 5. Who thay 5 is difficult, but Teddy Williams best option
@MagpieScarlet Has potential, clearly a number 7 if he wants an international futures. Needs to improve his jackal threat though. Leader, gritty, and big engine on him.
@TristanLewis_@andyhowellsport Wouldn’t have him near the team at present. Needs to understand the laws better. Has the raw material to be very good by top two inches absent at present.
@implausibleblog Any coastal town in the UK in the middle of winter will be struggling. I regularly go to Llandudno in the summer and it’s vibrant. Obviously the best perspective would be a local one.
@davidjusteat I’m really glad you have said that David. The comment made yesterday about just looking to the future was hugely frustrating. I just don’t think we have learnt anything about what went wrong when we went to regionalism in 2003. We burnt our past and it’s been biting us ever since
The march on Lansdowne Road: The amazing story of how the passion of a province saved Connacht from extinction | Irish Independent. WRU should read this, and welsh regional supporters need to act. https://t.co/o3fuqKYKTp
@DragonsLairPod If they cut to two that will significantly hamper future Welsh success. Italy and Scotland have won nothing with two clubs. Hopefully, they move to a model of two well funded teams and two less funded. That way all the pathways are kept going at least.
@JNPhillips4 Whoever takes over with Wales they need experince. They need experince as head coach at club and international level so they know how to drag a team which is low in confidence out of the ditch we found ourselves in. That rules a couple out in my opinion.
@WRRAPodcast Took 7 & 9 year old there for the first time this year, they really enjoyed it. Obviously the atmosphere was muted, with only 28,000. There’s just so much negativity around it pushes people away as well as being during Easter. It could be successful again at the right time.
@DragonsLairPod@leclare_6@DragonsOffic_SC Thanks for the Pods this year. I’m not a Dragons supporter but this is the first pod I listen to every week (and that’s not because it’s the first one out in the week). Let’s hope they pick up next year, and Gareth gets a victory pod! Have a good offseason.
@Stuhendo96@matthewjwright0@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 I’m not a Cardiff supporter, I was a Celtic Warriors supporter. I get the rewarding failure statement, but I just don’t agree with you. Personally, I want four clubs and four pathways each financed equally. I’m sick of the pettiness, and slow decision making.
@matthewjwright0@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 I’ll ignore the cluelesss remark. So what were the WRU supposed to do, let Cardiff go into administration. Allow players to leave and staff lose their jobs. Cardiff are not going to become Leinster, it’s more likely that the WRU will cut costs. I’m sick to death of all this.
