@pantojacoder @opera If the proxy-based browsing mode of Opera Mini is used, the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header should contain the IP of the requesting client. The recent changes in traffic originating from Opera Mini servers sound intriguing - would you be able to give more details on that? :-)
@brucel@zellwk@janstandal@Fyrd We will look into supporting it. We introduce improvements and features that are deemed important to our JS and CSS engines, translate() from the CSS transforms being one of the most recent ones.
@zellwk@janstandal@brucel@Fyrd Right now the Extreme mode is the most widely used compression mode so if the site should render well for Extreme mode users then avoiding CSS Variables or introducing a fallback mechanism is needed.
@zellwk@janstandal@brucel It looks like the caniuse entries are based only on the Extreme browsing mode as stated by @Fyrd on GitHub: https://t.co/zFOF1clixp. It could be a nice addition to include more info on the compression mode used and other modes' capabilities 🙂
@janstandal@brucel@zellwk For Opera Mini the status of CSS Variables support is as follows: present in High compression mode & with disabled compression (using Opera Mini for Android terminology here 🤓), not supported in Extreme mode (no plans for it right now).
@mauticom Yaay! Was about to message you about that 😀 Thanks for your confirmation - I will forward your suggestion to the team behind our add-ons review process. Have a nice day!

@mlissner According to our reviewers, the 'dataType' setting is related to security. I have turned the reviewers' attention to your review but the requested fixes need to be implemented in order to allow us to progress with the review.
@mlissner In order to get the add-on published in our store, it needs to be given the green light by our reviewers. According to the reviewers improvements were requested to be made in the RECAP Extension regarding the security aspects of the add-on.
