The death of Chief Adélékè Òdùọlá (93), a distinguished son of Òṣogbo and a proud member of the revered Lájọmọ Royal Family, has been announced by the family some hours ago.

Prince Adélékè Òdùọlá was a man of remarkable grace, wisdom, and resilience whose life reflected diligence, discipline, and devotion to family and community. As an accomplished trader, he believed that failure was never the end, but a stepping stone to greater accomplishments. His determination, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit earned him admiration from many who crossed his path.
Beyond his achievements, Baba was a devoted family man who placed great value on education and moral upbringing.

His passing marks the end of a glorious era, but his legacy of hard work, wisdom, unity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of his children, family members, friends, and the entire Òṣogbo community.

Ununiformed policemen were seen jumping through the fence of a private building to gain access, a practice many residents have described as unlawful and disturbing.

We call on the Nigeria Police Force and relevant authorities to urgently investigate this incident and ensure that officers operate strictly within the confines of the law. Security agencies are meant to protect lives and properties, not create fear or violate the rights of innocent citizens. Accountability and adherence to due process must remain the standard at all times.
