Balin the Dwarf and Sophie the Sorceress escaped the dungeon with seconds to spare.

Only very minor brother-sister squabbling occurred before teamwork kicked in.

Mrs Kinch played after some pleading from the kids. She started off very reluctant and finished up yelling at the kids “focus, we’re on a schedule here!”

French WW1 hero and bulwark of the post-war Catholic Right, General Castelnau...publicly mocked Vichy, encouraged his grandsons to join de Gaulle, and stored weapons for the French Resistance.

You must forgive him for not joining the fight himself: he turned 88 in 1939!
