picking up things where we left off.."

Another kiss, this one deeper, much more passionate than the last.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

There was a soft groan as Ruby broke the kiss, it was his first kiss since leaving her, and he never wanted it to end. All of those same emotions came flooding back, any tension between them suddenly gone with their lips embracing.

And as she begins to remove her boots, ++

The second their lips touchy Ruby’s eyes fluttered shut, her body feeling that familiar burn and tingling sensation she’d always manage to get when he touched her before. It was arousal, yes, but something else also lingered. Something she had only ever experienced with Ben.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

so too does he, moving back onto the bed as to rest against the headboard.

Taking Ruby by the hips and pulling her in beside him, one arm wrapped possessively around her, keeping her close, the other run through her blonde locks.

"I wish I never left, but instead, I'm happy +

seen in years~"

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

Ben was impatient to see her, that much is true, and well, now that she's inside of his chambers, silk robe covering the outfit that no doubt showed off her beautiful form the way he always loved.

He pats the bed beside him.

"Come, let your pervert see what he hasn't ++

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

Her eyes rolled at his playfulness as she slipped on the black, silk robe that he had picked out on one of the planets the last time she was aboard.

"You are definitely /my/ pervert."

She muttered softly to herself as she slipped out, feet barefoot as she made her way to Ben's

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

in close. And push a kiss to her lips. One he'd been needing for years.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

"As much as you calm me down, Ruby, you were never a stranger to angering me more when we would both benefit."

He remembers well, the massacres she would motivate him to commit, and he loved every second. He's in fact hoping that she will do the same for him in future, ++

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

"Clearly not."

She'd reply, as much as she wanted to make the first move she was stubborn enough not to. He was the one who brought her aboard, he was the one who could give in.

"Your temper seems to be just as hasty as before, guess without me here to cool you down you fly off

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

I have you by my side, that's all I wished for. After all this time, the only person I've needed here to keep me going where I needed to be, is you."

She was too stubborn to make a move, but he wasn't, his hand already on her chin, so it wasn't hard to pull her ++

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

And there's no real way of expressing just how much he's been missing the noise she makes, perhaps why he's so eager.

"I'm your pervert, though~"

Before severing the connection, and awaiting her company face to face, rather than through the force.

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

Had Ruby had something in her mouth she knew she would have spit it out with that response.

He wasn't wrong and she knew that. He always managed to make her louder than she cared to admit when in bed together.

"Stop it, I'm on my way now. Pervert~."

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

It remains true that he trusts her with power like that, after all.

Keeping eyes locked, with occasional glances to her lips, Kylo hums.

"Not much has changed, it seems."

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

"I'll allow you communication with them first thing in the morning. For now, communications on the ship are disabled.

Some maintenance in the communications room."

What had actually happened, is that yesterday Kylo lost his temper during a rather heated conversation ++

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

The sensation of his fingers against her chin Ruby's eyes shifted down to his lips then back up so that they could lock gazes again.

"Seems like you nabbed me right at the perfect time."

She replied knowing that she would have to send word back to allow those on Earth to know

between him and a Rebel, causing him to tear parts of the communications room to shreds, even using his saber at one point or another.

The truth is, Kylo would happily take on HYDRA, especially knowing the responsibilities of the extra man power would be held by Ruby.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

"It's past lights out. If any men see you, there will be trouble regardless.

And besides, knowing how we used to be, they'll almost definitely be hearing you soon~"

Ben was always the flirt, that much hadn't changed. Watching as she slips on the robe.

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

"Calm yourself, Ben. I'll be there in a moment, I'm trying to find a robe to slip on. I doubt you want your men to see me."

She'd reply finally finding the robe she was looking for in her closet.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

merging our organization's could be beneficial to us both."

Hand continuing to lock fingers, while his free hand cups her chin. Looking deep into her eyes.

"Like the future we always dreamed of way back then.."

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

"I lost tabs on you a few years back. I guess I missed a lot."

He gives a smile. Clearly happy for her. He'd always told her she deserves as much. And now she has it.

Well, had it, considering her current situation.

Perhaps Kylo was thinking too far into the ++

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

"Agent."

Ruby replied with a soft giggle to her voice, her gaze shifting up to Ben once more as a smirk danced dangerously against her plush lips.

"I'm the head of HYDRA now, Ben. The role I was literally created for."

Upon returning home Ruby truly took over the organization

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

future here, and far too optimistically, but his mind was running wild with ideas.

"If that's truly the case. Perhaps there's no need for a simple alliance of the New Order and HYDRA. We're both running our respective operations, and with you back aboard the ship, ++

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

If that would fluster her, the rest of the night may leave her face pinker than ever.

"The outfit looks amazing, Ruby. Come over and let me see it in person~"

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

To say that Ruby's face went a slight shade of pink would have been a massive understatement.

Much like him she had purposely refused the touch of others so it was something that made her easily flustered.

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

Kylo is now projecting into her mind. Something rather easy to do at such a short distance from one another.

A simple image, of him at this moment. In his chambers wearing nothing but underwear. Waiting.

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

Perhaps it is~

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

Renegotiate.

Ruby, on the other hand, he knew he could get back.

"It's a shame. HYDRA was a useful asset.

But we've managed this long without them. And now we have their strongest and most talented agent, I'm sure we'll be fine~"

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

At first Ben flinches at her hand. Not because he didn't enjoy her touch. Quite the opposite, him having her not only close again, but reaching a hand it, is perfect.

So much so that he returns the grasp, holds her hand in his. But his reason for flinching is that ++

[── ʀᴜʙʏ ʜᴀʟᴇ • ᴘᴀʀᴏᴅʏ @W0RLD_DESTR0YER]

"There's a difference between going through to clean and going through to actually find things. They used to clean it when I was here before."

Felling his weight on the bed next to her Ruby' head slowly turned looking up at him, her fingers reaching out to brush against his as

[𝕶𝖞𝖑𝖔 𝕽𝖊𝖓 @OFKYLOSOLO]

But my trust goes a long way, it won't take the crew long to follow my lead. It never does."

He nods. Truthfully he missed the alliance with HYDRA, but a burnt bridge with such an organisation stays burnt. He can't simply walk in and ask for them to reconsider. ++
