Celebrating its 50th year, the Little NHL continues to be an important event for nurturing self-esteem, sportsmanship, and unity among First Nations youth in Ontario. This year's theme, "Honouring Our Water," calls attention to the vital importance of water stewardship and protection.
We commend the 10,000 players, families, and community members gathered for this milestone event. Your presence embodies the resilience and spirit of our communities. We also honour the founders of the Little NHL, whose vision has created a lasting legacy of cultural celebration and sporting excellence.
The OFNYPC is proud to celebrate this historic anniversary. We are inspired by the potential of youth to lead and excel, both on and off the ice. May this tournament continue to be a source of pride, unity, and inspiration to First Nations communities in Ontario for many years to come.
