What a stretch! Your @SWGuilfordMBB faced an absolutely unkind schedule with 3 straight! Wasn’t up to standard- but got it done. T/ Dudley, W/ S. Alamance, and then tonight against a scrappy Grimsley: 68-54. Cowboys move to 12-3 and 3-2 in the brutal Metro 6/7A league. #BFR
Every player has a story, and every story matters.
A coach who only sees talent will miss the bigger picture. A transformational coach sees the heart, the struggles, and the potential—then helps players believe in themselves
Starter or not. Varsity or not. Every player matters.

@SWGuilfordMBB with an impressive conference win over rival Ragsdale 78-50. That’s now 3 in a row and 7-1 in the last 8 games. We improve to 8-4 overall and most importantly 4-1 in the very tough Metro 4A to stay atop the league. Starting to put it together at the right time.
Dayton was down by 13 points at one point in the first half, but they are about to land the upset over No. 6 Marquette. Helluva win for the Flyers, who were a couple possessions away from beating both Iowa State and North Carolina.
The Flyers are a damn good team this year.
UD arena is honestly one of the top 3/4 arenas in the country, it just doesn’t get the hype because Dayton is buried in the A-10.
Put them in the Big East👀

Congratulations to SW Guilford Girls Flag Football on winning the inaugural Guilford County championship today at Page High School, defeating Western Guilford 34-31 in the championship game.
@HighSchoolOT Why are you calling this the “State” championship when it only includes 5 counties in the Triangle and Eastern part of the state? Two of the larger counties in the state, Guilford and Forsyth, are also holding a tournament today, would be nice to see coverage of that one too
Coaching GOLD form Bob Hurley.
How you practice matters.
Too many coaches spent their practices talking.
Players need to “do.” They need to “compete.”
All drills should have the following:
1. Competition
2. Skill work
3. Conditioning
