In Huddersfield a gang of 5 men led by Rayhaan Saleem, 19, started breaking into a property when they realised just a girl and her mum were home

The mum rang police who told her to barricade herself and her daughter in a room which they luckily managed to do

The police arrived within minutes and arrested the men at the scene finding a machete as well

This all happened in the early hours of the morning

The attack happened in May but they've just been sentenced this week, the leader, Saleem has been sentenced to just 26 months in a young offenders institute!

Why Andy Burnham Has a Kate Osborne Problem

Whilst Andy Burnham desperately tries to convince people that Labour is the party of working men and women, it is his own backbenchers, particularly the hard left, who keep exposing the reality.

When Anne Widdecombe died, many on the left were quick to lecture those of us on the right not to speculate or make political capital out of a tragedy. Yet, following the Islamist terrorist attack at Berlin Pride, Kate Osborne saw fit to link Reform UK and GB News to the wider climate surrounding the attack.

That is a serious allegation, but where is the evidence? GB News has openly gay presenters and contributors, and Reform supporters are far more diverse than the lazy stereotype of “straight white men” that some on the hard left like to portray.

This kind of political point scoring does nothing to help the victims. If you’re going to condemn hatred, condemn the Islamist terrorist who carried out the attack. Don’t use a tragedy to smear your political opponents without evidence.

It is this kind of lazy stereotyping that alienates the very people Labour claims to represent. The modern Labour Party is increasingly divided between its leadership and a hard left faction that demands ideological conformity. If you disagree, you’re branded the problem rather than having your arguments addressed.

No amount of carefully staged photo opportunities, soundbites or TikTok videos will change that. Burnham will inherit the same internal divisions that have plagued Keir Starmer because the hard left will never be satisfied.

🚨 Auditors found £6.8 BILLION of fraud involving DWP.

That’s according to the National Audit Office’s latest report.

That works out at £18.6 million every single day.

Every day you went to work, paid your taxes and did the right thing…

…almost £19 million was being lost to benefit fraud.

Yet this is the same department that hasn’t passed an audit since 1988.

And instead of fixing the system first, the Government plans to spend another £70 billion on benefits while increasing taxes to pay for it

Surely the priority should be stopping the fraud before asking taxpayers for another penny.
