I don’t like asking for help—but this might be my last chance to see the world beyond my bed. If you can donate or share, it could mean the difference between a dream and reality. #GoFundMe

Really hoping the weather holds up on September 21st so I can actually roll out and be part of the Walk & Roll event. I’ve been looking forward to it — it means a lot to be able to show up in person if Mother Nature cooperates. If you want to support the cause (or just send some good weather vibes), donations are always appreciated. 🌤️🛞🤞

So… I’ve discovered a new addition to my war-torn body: a fresh bedsore on my foot. The doctor was a little concerned—which in modern medical speak means “this isn’t great, but we’re not calling the village healer just yet.”
To me, though? It’s another mark of survival. A battle scar. Another tale to be etched into the sagas of the Cyborg Viking. I’ve decided to name this one Sorevald the Tenderfoot, a noble yet treacherous companion on my journey.
We’re treating it quickly and seriously, because this foot has places to go—like Disneyland, Hollywood, and the open road. The wound may slow me down, but it won’t stop me. Not even close.
Thanks again for standing beside me, even when parts of me decide to fall apart like a poorly-built longship. More updates soon—hopefully fewer holes involved. https://t.co/1xYvHjHOgb
I wanted to share a quick update and let you know that I’ve reached out to a few companies that make backup power systems — the kind I’ll need to keep my medical equipment running safely during the trip.
These units aren’t cheap, but they’re essential. If there’s any chance I can get some support or a sponsorship to help cover that part of the cost, I’m going to take it. Every dollar I can save means your donations go further — and that matters to me more than I can say.
Thank you for believing in this journey and in me. I won’t stop fighting to make it happen. #GoFundMe

Got my passport photo yesterday — first time ever. Last trip was Vegas in 2004, when I was 21 and passports weren’t needed. Half a lifetime ago. This isn’t just a vacation — it’s a legacy trip. Took a ramp, a van, a vent, and pure grit to get here. One step closer.
It didn’t sit right with me that I left out my sisters and Keith in my original GoFundMe description. They’ve done so much for me over the years, and I’ve now updated the “Who I Am” section to reflect the love and support they’ve given. #gofundme

Yay! Apparently my right hip is broken now… and I have absolutely no idea how it happened. Meanwhile, I broke my left hip 3 years ago and trust me—I definitely know how that one went down. Apparently I collect broken hips like some people collect Funko Pops.
