John Lee, the modelmaker who designed & constructed two identical Hank props, shared this behind the scenes picture of both props on his portfoilo website. There are 2 distinctions between Hank A and B, with Hank A featuring a higher cab roof and chip in the front running board

Went to the Mattel Store again, and this is what they showed about the new 2026 show!

The Hank A model has a small chip in the front running board which was present during filming. It is one way to differentiate both Hank models which were used interchangeably to film the episode Heave Ho Thomas.

Been scanning some vintage stuff for someone's ongoing video series, and finally got around to do this Ladybird box set which I got off Marketplace ages ago, and is so obscure I can't find any other photos, nor is it even mentioned on the Wiki. Might be Australian exclusive? 1/

After the Toronto recording sessions in September 1999, John Bellis received additional voice acting coaching.

By the time recording resumed in February 2000, his performance as Thomas had evolved, resulting in a much wider emotional range.

I knew at some point I’d need to make a Thomas, I just never thought it’d be this soon.

Regardless I’m very happy with how he’s turned out, and Percy will be very happy to have a friend finally!
