@Logically_JC I dont think your morals and mine align. Maybe it's religion or politics or how we were raised, but that single tweet will prevent me from listening to you, or caring about what you say, who you are, what you do, how you think... you're foul. Begone.
@HurricaneK3rry @Lior_2022 @WhiteLOmega @Logically_JC Did you watch the proceedings? Did you read statements? What about the drone footage of the points in time in which he fired his rifle? Because his dad lived there. He went "armed" with medical gear which he used. But when SHTF he reacted and he's alive. He killed. He survived.
@theRealwoolfman@ProfeDeAngelo I feel it used to be more normal for it to be okay to be worse in some subjects. Hey I am trash at history. Never liked it. But I dont go yelling screaming that my history teacher was an a hole and it's his fault. No its mine... but physics, boy lemme tell ya
@ProfeDeAngelo Also all students in a class, albeit vastly variable in subject skill, still have the same minimum requirements to understand for final exams. Different learning and retention techniques are implemented, altered, and honed by the hardships or ease of homework.
@ProfeDeAngelo I respectfully disagree. I think homework is very effective when used appropriately. It promotes good study habits, note-taking skills, problem solving, time management, and pride in your work. learn new concepts in class, practice at home, and demonstrate retention on the exam.
@Mikanojo@POTUS I have 13 guns, all with a specific purpose. Some are old and have sentimental value, the others are for hunting, trap/skeet(sport), or just fun to shoot. I have an ar-15, in .450, 5 round mag, and legally registered through atf when I bought it. Why would you make me a criminal?
@niedog1962 @mitch00xj00 @TSharp36906234 @StephenKing I would agree that weapons are able to be collected and used SAFELY just like any other item. A 5 round mag is not any more dangerous than a single shot weapon if used with good intent. And there are more uses to firearms than just what you deem as sport shooting.
@StephenKing Would you please specify what you mean by assault weapon. I believe an assault weapon is a fully automatic firearm used by military forces. I don't think that any weapon that has a stock or a pistol grip should be considered "assault", and anything that helps stability is safer.
@Kaminara But how do you enforce using an armory? What prevents you from keeping your weapon after taking it? How do you keep a home/self defense weapon? How do you go/no-go check someone with malicious intent? Taking away a food source is my concern for taking away my hunting rifles.3/2
@Kaminara That being said, I own guns, keep em locked, only use em to sport shoot and hunt. I don't want to lose em. But I would be willing to keep them locked in an armory, open to public, security, and you always have a key to your property. Sure it'd be inconvenient, but if it works 2/2
@jerry5577@sabinswag@wilg111@DLoesch@laurenboebert Then let's just hope that the family of gun owners are training safe measures and proper firearm safety. But neither dangerous firearm handling(your point), nor training(my point) can prevent incidents like this occurring. What happened was evil, not an "accident".
@depthofghost I concur. I just finished reading perhaps 3 weeks ago. I had purchased it on my phone, and now everytime I'm idle, I go to open the books and need to remember there is no more to read. Also. Egwene.
@rogueAelfinn As for the book itself, there are man and woman servants, man and woman vagabonds, lords and ladies, kings and queens. And so the setting lies heavily on the Era that the age takes place in. Aka AoL has male aes sedai and modern day tech. But now with the effective dark age...
@rogueAelfinn I would deeply argue that WoT is not sexist, but inherently classist to a far greater extent than many feel comfortable with now. I do not feel that there is any portion of the book that reflects the writers personal feelings or potential sexism.
