It’s high time our so-called leaders understand a hard truth: death does not wash away your sins. You don’t magically earn sainthood just because your heart stopped beating.

So why must we sanitize the names of those who failed us just because they’ve gone silent in a coffin?

And if I may add, it’s high time we push for a bill that stops this madness of flying the corpses of failed Nigerian leaders back home with taxpayer money. If you couldn’t fix the health system for the people who paid your salary, you have no right to come back in a shiny box paid for by them.
