Garga just did something that genuinely brought light into a very difficult time for me: I accepted his offer on @opensea .
That makes @CryptoGarga the first collector of a posthumous work by my father, who passed away three weeks ago. Nothing could make me happier right now than knowing this very first piece goes to him.

This sale helps in a very real way: it covers part of the funeral costs and eases the burden on my mother. My father’s legacy is now, thanks to Garga, helping relieve that financial weight at least a little.

As promised, Garga will receive:
• 1/1 NFT "Storm Spiral" https://t.co/LwPM0H2mVg
• the physical original painting
• a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
• and a 3D tribute statue, derived from an element of the painting "Storm Spiral", which I will personally create as a 3D artist

That statue will be placed on my father’s Otherdeed with Garga’s name as a dedication (If there’s still room in the Starfield Gallery (Koda Nexus), I’d be open to that as well and would be truly happy about it). And on that deed, once building opens, I also plan to build the museum dedicated to my father and his paintings.
My wish is for his art to exist inside Otherside too. I genuinely believe in Otherside long-term and that’s why this feels like the right tribute, more than keeping his work “only” on a website.

some big news to share:

Yuga Labs has acquired the Unreal Engine–based creator platform that powers Otherside from Improbable, and negotiated a perpetual license to Improbable’s high concurrency tech for Otherside.

Along with the tech, many of the engineers and developers who we’ve worked with for years at Improbable are joining Yuga in the new year.

This is us doubling down on a simple goal: to build the best creator platform in crypto.

A place where anyone can build worlds, games, and experiences that are massively multiplayer, composable, and shippable at the click of a button.

All on open rails, with real ownership and real economies.

Bringing the platform and the team fully in-house lets us move much faster, iterate harder, and invest long-term in Otherside and the creators building on it.

@europarking12 Your practices should be illegal. Companies using such services and these ANPR cameras to surveil their customers in order to catch minor parking indiscretions (like being just over the line) and issue fines should be boycotted. They only fix one problem; lining your pockets.
