I’m so proud of this kid for deciding to go to practice when he didn’t feel good yesterday. We need more dudes like this.

Thank you @Coach_Creighton for an awesome @EMUFB youth day. Our @OwossoTrojan_FB youth players had a blast. Not all heroes wear capes @CarterMiculka

I took over the @OwossoTrojan_FB program 4 years ago and year 1 was rough. I just want to thank @FerrisFootball for coming in to recruit our guys every year. It’s easy to see their commitment to Michigan HS Football and developing relationships. We know the other schools that didn’t show up when we struggled and somehow found their way to Owosso when we started winning.

[Ron Tyner @OHS_CoachTyner]

Interesting point. I coached D3 in the Midwest and FCS at Bryant. At Bryant we would lose a few kids that we offered to NESCAC schools and a handful of kids we recruited but didn’t offer ended up at those places. While their roster sizes are smaller I believe that their academic profiles attract better athletes than most D3 schools. I think NESCAC schools are going to surprise a lot of folks at the national level.

Had a great day at the @MHSAA regional exposure camp at Dewitt. Thanks to all the coaches for conversations and feedback. Looking forward to competing at more camps this summer!

Great to see @ElmhurstU_FB at the MHSFCA exposure camp. So happy to see that they are still committed to recruiting the mitten. Michigan kids were a HUGE part of our success there. The Jays will always hold a very special place in my heart.

These Trojan Greats had fantastic spring games this past week.

Bad take Coach. Every place is different, it’s not a cookie cutter thing. I don’t work in the building. I was the most qualified candidate for the job, and we turned around one of the worst programs in our state. You need a good system of assistant coaches in the building to make it work though.

[Ron Tyner @OHS_CoachTyner]

Super proud of @CarterMiculka looking forward to watching @EMUFB get after it this fall.

[Owosso High School Football @OwossoTrojan_FB]

What a great day to be a Trojan!!! Congrats boys.

Enjoying some killer food at Thompsons Pizza between Red Cedar hoops games. The town of Chelsea and @oldballcoach4 have got it going on down here…what a cool town. I wouldn’t be surprised if they painted the streets blue and gold.

Wow… for the 2nd year in a row Midwest teams have won the National Championship in D1, D2, D3, and NAIA. The best football in the country is in the Midwest.
