Yeah, exactly! We can already unlock wallpapers in some games, like State of Decay, when earning certain achievements. It would be really interesting if Xbox brought some older titles back to life by giving people an extra reason to complete the games and unlock exclusive avatar items through achievements.

Exactly! I can still open it, look at my Avatar and my items, and even unlock new items by playing Xbox 360 games. But there’s no way to actually save or use it anymore I can basically only take a picture of it to use as my profile picture.

I’d love to see something like what it used to be, but modernized into an Avatar 2.0: being able to buy and unlock items, have your Avatar appear on the Dashboard, interact with your friends, and bring back the features that made Avatars special in the first place. 💚

It’s abandoned. All the cosmetics you purchased or unlocked through games are stuck there. You can’t save your character or even properly showcase it.

What I’m proposing is bringing back something that is part of Xbox’s history, but improved and modernized as an Avatar 2.0 appearing in the HUD, interacting with your friends, bringing back games that used Avatars, and actually giving them a purpose again.

Instead of keeping something that no longer has support or real functionality, bring Avatars back better than ever.
