OIST and NTT Space Environment and Energy Laboratories held a ceremony to launch an #ocean observation device named "Seiuchi-san". By observing the ocean directly under typhoons, Seiuchi-san aims to improve #typhoon forecasting performance and elucidate the mechanism of typhoons.
