DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) has nothing to do with disability code enforcement. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), passed in 1990, is the primary reason public buildings, including the Capitol, are accessible to individuals with disabilities. The ADA is a civil rights law focused specifically on preventing discrimination against disabled individuals and ensuring accessibility, independent of DEI initiatives, which are often centered around race, gender, and socioeconomic factors. Accessibility laws existed long before DEI became a mainstream concept, and conflating the two is historically and legally inaccurate.

We can’t base massive public health on studies that can’t be applied to a mass public (yet) even when small differences exist. SciSpace screenshots are great but we have to read for comprehension in context.
