@BrockRiddickIFB Looks like you're wrong about everything. Cavendish has been repeated. It did show gravity exists. Newtonian physics is a good approximation to Relativity.
@sarahsalviander I don't think there's any doubt that science shows that Christian myths aren't literally true. You're right that a god could still exist, but I'm confident if there is one, it bears no resemblance at all to the one described in the Bible.
@unitygeist@BrockRiddickIFB But astronomy *does* clearly show the Earth is a rotating sphere. There is no genuine doubt. How else do you explain the stars rotating (apparently) around the south celestial pole?
@wendelltalks Those are all interesting questions. What we need to avoid is answers that are so simplistic and childish that they are worse than no answer.
@TheGlobeIsDead Gravity is a fact. The theory of gravity is a way to explain how gravity works. General relativity is very successful. It has passed every test. Maybe they're onto somehting?
@BowzerKnows@BrockRiddickIFB You want all that detail in an X post? Surely just the name of the experiment or observation (then people can look it up themselves) is sufficient?
