Big thanks to all at @Wilmslowalbion and good luck!
Have every confidence the club will go on to do even better things this year and keep on improving.
Today would have been Gary Speed’s 55th birthday.. 🥺
If you're struggling with your mental health, it's ok not to be ok. ❤️
If one of your mates is struggling, this is your sign to check in on them.
Genuine question.
What is the point of private schools, apart from to give more fortunate children a further edge in life than children of ordinary working families?
Shouldn't we just make all state schools as good as possible?
I can’t believe I won’t see that beaming smile again.
I’m so happy that Sol was part of my life and we had such brilliant memories together.
I’m heartbroken for Chloe and the family and all my thoughts are with them.
Sol was a ray of sunshine and I’ll miss him so much. 💔
JK’s 2 minute Fanbite analysis of the Wolves away. Who would have predicted this A fabulous performance. Noni Madueke hat trick. Palmer a class above. Enzo and Moises terrific. Just get the defence to improve and we’ll win the league. @jonathankydd@chelseafanbite#chelseafc
The media & so many non-Chelsea fans are relentlessly telling us that we should be outraged over the treatment of certain players. Meanwhile they hardly pay attention to our club, they just see some juicy & emblished headline and decide they know the full story.
Pipe down.
🚨🔵 Pedro Neto to Chelsea, here we go! Wolves accept bid worth €60m fixed fee plus €3m add-ons as almost matches initial price tag.
Neto’s agent Mendes has agreed on personal terms with Chelsea.
Medical tests booked for Pedro at #CFC with Wolves keen on Ajax’s Carlos Forbes.
What we are getting from Pedro Neto:
- Set piece specialist
- Comfortable on both wings
- Can hug the line or play inside
- Top end product
- Very quick on the break
- Good in 1v1 situations
- Premier League experience (quick adaptation).
This signing is 8/10. ✅️
Can't say this enough; Elon Musk's menace to democracy is intolerable. He's using the largest & most influential platform in the democratic world to stoke racial conflict and civil breakdown - in his own posts & what X promotes. Democracies can no longer ignore this.
The world is such an uncomfortable place at present.
Twitter exacerbating all of that. Horrid app.
Algorithms that promote the worst of narratives to people the most susceptible to buying into them.
Lies pushed to fuel hate-agendas. The agendas spreads. Division increases.
I think we’ve all grown used to Twitter being a pretty grim platform to scroll through over the years but the last couple of months have been at another level altogether. It feels like every time you open the app, it’s people screaming at each other from increasingly polarised points of view.
The content popping up on my feed is so often fuelled by anger and hatred, the replies are even worse and it feels as though it’s likely to continue in that fashion for the foreseeable future. I don’t think there’s an answer for it; this just seems to be the new normal.
Whether you rate Chalobah or not, not taking him on the pre season tour is absolutely disgusting.
Trying to force someone out who you gave a contract to until 2028 is just horrific and that fact he’s been at Chelsea since he was a kid makes it even worse.
Such a bad message.
I ended up hoping England would win Euros rather than expecting it. Now it’s over let’s call a spade a spade - individual moments of brilliance (Jude/Saka/ollie/Cole) got England to the final - (plus very kind draw) & kept them in the final as well. Been disappointing overall.
