Remember those “haunted houses” churches used to have where you’d see a car wreck, then the Hell part that was full of the stuff that makes haunted houses fun, then the Heaven part where there was linoleum floors and drop ceilings? I think about those every October.

This year, for @TapsAmerica I honored @OKCPD Chief John Milton Jones, who was killed in the line of duty on June 20, 1895. Rest easy, Chief. We’ve got it from here.

Today was the annual @OKCPD Memorial Service, where we honor those officers who died in the line of duty. Unfortunately, for the first time in a decade, a name was added. We still mourn the loss of Sgt. Meagan Burke, who died in September in a car accident leaving her shift.
