The first major retrospective for internationally recognized artist Edgar Heap of Birds (Cheyenne and Arapaho Nation) opened on February 20, 2025, at @OKContemporary.

"Neufs for Oklahoma Autumn," Edgar Heap of Birds' two half-size, hand-painted basketball courts outside @OKContemporary in Oklahoma City, reference the Cheyenne word for meaning and ritual around the number four, inspired by the wooded canyons around his mother’s home.
