Hard to believe it's already been 5 years since we closed down the capitol for a week to make the electrical switch over to new equipment. This event required months of planning to relocate agencies and ensure the safety of all involved.

The first of 4 paintings for the ground floor rotunda of the Oklahoma State Capitol was unveiled today. Painted by Lucas Simmons, the series is entitled "Labor Omnia Vincit" and this panel recognizes workers in the southeastern part of the state.
