What a great day we had to celebrate European Day of Languages! Thank you to Mr McGowan for organising the day for our S2 pupils, with food, fun and dancing. We also had a staff coffee morning with European treats, organised by our super FH Miss McGhee. @OLHSMotherwell

Happy European Day of Languages!! We have a non-stop day of fun for our S2 pupils, with foods from around Europe, European Just Dance, flag making, an Eiffel Tower competition, Linguascope and Blooket ! Updates to follow!! @OLHSMotherwell

S3 French used the newly- learnt vocabulary on personalities to describe classmates. We then played a game of guess who? Lots of fun creative writing ✍️ 🇫🇷

To celebrate Languages Week Scotland, our Lingua Club learnt some Japanese and how to make origami… not uas easy as it seems but everyone tried their best and had fun 😊 @OLHSMotherwell @LangsWeekScot

There is no better way to finish our topic on “La nourriture” than to write menus in French. Some of those restaurants have a delicious choice of food and drinks ! 🥗🍗🍟🍝🧋☕️🥛🧃 Bravo S2 and “bon appétit”

After the prelims, our S4 pupils have enjoyed a bit of French culture, literature and music ! They have done some research on a famous novel by Victor Hugo. “Les Misérables” have been a real success! 😊
