We credit them for creating conditions that accelerate adoption and access.
Roads make cars useful. Stable power makes TV useful. If a government improves that tomorrow, they deserve credit.

We don’t thank people for creating electricity; we credit policies that expand access.
Same with GSM. And if Ethiopia achieved electrification without being colonized, credit goes to whoever made it happen
