“Girl, 9, accused of being trans at Kelowna track meet”
This is where anti-trans hate leads. It is an attack on all forms of gender non-conformity, ending in the re-imposition of regressive gender norms and threatening progress on women’s rights. https://t.co/cF3wpau0nJ

#ONStorm#Onwx WILDFIRE SMOKE FORECAST
VALID: Thursday, June 8, 2023
The focus of Wednesday's smoke was in Eastern Ontario which eventually spread down into the US and led to very poor air quality in cities including New York City and Boston.
More smoke is on the way as we head into Thursday, however, the main area of concern will shift slightly to the west into Central Ontario and the GTA. This is where we expected to see very dense smoking beginning Thursday morning and continuing into the afternoon.
Many across the GTA and Central Ontario will experience some of the worst air quality ever recorded in those locations. Even worse than the last few days if the smoke is actually as dense as models indicate.
Eastern Ontario should get somewhat of a break as the heaviest smoke will be to the west. They could still experience some poor air quality but likely nothing close to Wednesday's values.
Again, this is something you should be taking seriously. This much pollution in the air is horrible for your health and could lead to respiratory issues even in healthy individuals. If you can, please limit exposure to the outdoors as much as possible. And if you do go outside, be as quick as possible and protect yourself from breathing in too much smoke.
Conditions are expected to gradually improve over the next few days although occasional smoke plumes may drift into our area throughout next week.

Canada just surpassed 4 million hectares burned this year. For comparison, last year only 28 thousand hectares had burned by June 7th. That’s an increase of about 14400%. Wow!
