Cory Barlog on the gods in the afterlife in 'God of War: Laufey' ๐ฎ
"They're all assholes. Literally every god that exists in all of the mythologies has this really terrible relationship with power and how they abuse all of it"
"When you put all those people โ like a bunch of billionaires on an island โ they think they're gonna have a happy life. No, they're all going to fight each other, they're all going to be in this strange sense of conflict because they're locked in a prison"

@AstroRabby@Rothmus I mean, if a certain group of people who based their philosophy on a certain mustachioed historical figure wanted to try again, I don't think we'd be too keen on it, no matter how effective their economic policies seem in the moment. And rightfully so.
@AstroRabby@Rothmus It is a point worth going over when people do try to downplay and defend their actions. It's also a reasonable fear, given pretty much every such regime has similar unsavory elements.
@ScreechyTurnip@ReviewsPossum I will admit my first time watching it did nothing for me, but somehow it's grown on me, as I've sat through it a few extra times with friends.
After episode 2, which is a lot better than the first, you'll know if you like it or not.
@ScreechyTurnip@ReviewsPossum It's kind of an adult cartoon, but with the framing of a saturday morning show.
The first episode is honestly the weakest.
If you aren't familiar with warhammer 40k, some things will go over your head, but it's still watchable if it's your kinda humor.
@Kitsurubami0@JadeAtrophis Hold on.
Did this get corroborated by someone besides Joss's partner? I'm only asking because I was under the impression that's where that bit of info comes from, and many aspects of their testimony frequently change and don't match the public evidence.
@McCarthyist2 Hate the game, but it's like you guys know nothing about how corporate accounts operate.
Now, if they had a full crashout, I'd agree with you, but it's just a safe corporate meme. Both companies get views. Both move on.
@McCarthyist2 You don't. But you to get over... how many... 3.8 million views by responding to corporate banter.
Next you'll tell me the fast food accounts actually mean the things they say to each other.
@writriverdale I misread you at first, and deleted this comment. Yeah, this dude is full of it. Which I said, but I thought at first you posed the wound or hurt thing.
I can't lie, of everything I didn't quite like about the GoW trailer, it's nice to know eventually criticisms of that game are just going to boil down to "eh... she has wrinkles and pores".
Not saying you can't dislike a design, but this wasn't even a thought in my mind.
