@philzfactz @alex_phins4lyfe Sorokin is the most talented by far, but lacks clutch play. Those 2 conference finals runs needed both goalies both years. Sorokin was $ against Pitt. Got real excited for the future. Since then haven’t seen that clutch play when the team needs him. Still one hell of a goalie.

@philzfactz Lou left it on a tee for him and he whiffed. Lou didn’t tell him to get Palat, Schenn, and Soucy. Lou only picked up players in their mid to late 20’s. Based on his track record Lou doesn’t make these trades. He had assets to keep building for when the current t team ages out

@KingsleyLomo @NYIslanders They’ve been a complete mess in their own zone all season. Sorokin masked this form until recently. I watch every game, it’s been sloppy AF the whole time.

@chrispronger Roy was ok. Problem is, the team that defended so well with Trotz looked completely lost in their own zone. In my opinion defense and goaltending needs to be solid in the NHL, and there were way too many breakdowns in our own zone. Wish they did this way earlier.

The way pucks come flying off the boards and posts/cross bar, I can’t believe any teams allow this. I agree with Lou Lams on this. Keep your helmet on, be part of the team. No need for the individual to stand out.

@IslanderFansNYI I’d say they’re about equal. Last few seasons I’d give the edge to McMichael. So far this year, I’d say Holmstrom is the more effective player. Saying he’s not as good as McMichael is a stretch.
