@talkofthecharts Country songs occupying the entire top 4 of the Hot 100 has never happened before until now! The week ending July 18 will be a historic chart because of this.
@VoteHub Thank god she still won. But it was a huge underperformance for Democrats mainly because of the GOP primary runoffs taking place statewide. This still means that the GOP has not flipped a single Democratic-held legislative seat anywhere in the country in Trump's 2nd term so far.
@stateofzach@talkofthecharts Oh yeah, I forgot. Anti-Hero was #1 in January and then Cruel Summer and Is It Over Now in October and November of that year.
@talkofthecharts That would be something if Ella replaces herself at #1 sometime this summer. BH is literally experiencing a massive surge in radioplay which is why it has surpassed 200 points for the first time!
@CraigCrisostom1@Uncrewed That's the part that's blowing my mind! Republicans not being able to flip a single Democratic-held legislative seat anywhere in the country in a special election in the first 16 months of Trump's 2nd term means the GOP is in bigger trouble now than in 2018.
@talkofthecharts "Choosin' Texas" is soon going to become the 49th song in Hot 100 history to spend 10+ weeks at the #1 spot. This song is just a monster hit at this point!
@talkofthecharts@oliviarodrigo I remember when she temporarily unseated Morgan Wallen back in 2023 with "Vampire". That song had 310 points when it debuted at #1.
@talkofthecharts@ellalangleymsic This will be the first time this year that the #1 song stayed on top for 3 consecutive weeks. "The Fate of Ophelia" was the most recent song to spend 3+ consecutive weeks at #1.
@talkofthecharts Since "Man I Need" was unable to go #1 because of Bruno Mars and Ella Langley, this song would be her 2nd try for her first #1 on the Hot 100 if it continues growing in radioplay and stays stable on streaming.
