The inspiration is Manga, but I can’t avoid Lisbon’s influence, from the backgrounds to its local monsters, such as Diogo Alves’ head. A serial killer so disturbed that his head was studied in 1841, it is now on display at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Medicine.
