Working in a place like this just for 1 week during internship at the histopathology lab

It will make you realize how someone can switch from life to death in just a short time.
When people are brought in, they will say the cause of the death;

A corper was brought in dead cus he slumped while doing morning jogging 🏃, someone that was healthy the previous day, other corpers and family members didn’t believe he was actually dead they prayed from morning till 3pm nothing happened they have to leave later in the evening

A pregnant woman was brought in, died during delivery,
A man was brought in cus their both capsized and he didn’t make it
Another person was brought in Dead from an accident scene.
Another man brought in, died from a fight over disagreement, if I see people fighting on the road it offs me cus if one person just hit the other stone on the head that might be it.

All these people were alive hours ago but death happened.

Nobody is getting out of this place alive don’t take things too serious. Live life and enjoy moments.

We don’t live once, we live everyday and die once.

This video yesterday was all shades of many things.
One would have thought the boy is mentally unstable, one would have thought it’s one of those northern Almajiri who doesn’t go to school, one would have mistaken him for a thief, one would have thought he’s sick, one would have thought he’s even a common beggar judging from his condition/appearance.

I was shocked when he was speaking English, more shocked when the reason for appearing the way he does is because he’s hustling to get his working tools. You see, poverty will give you a name thats nothing close to your identity.

Poverty is a curse, poverty is a shameful garment, poverty is a chronic disease…

If the boy utilize this opportunity well, he’ll become better and look better. better than his peers

My take home are: Do whatever you’re doing right to fight/overcome poverty.
- not everyone in the street are nuisance/thieves/beggars, life happen to so many!
-resilience: keep doing whatever you’re doing with consistency, God will remember you one day.
-gratitude pave way for more open doors..
-be humble❤️

This is interesting. As someone heavily invested in real estate, this is simply not true.

Just like crypto or stocks, you must understand the market you are entering.

Without proper research, you will buy the wrong asset. If you held Solana or BNB over the past 4 years, you are likely in profit. If you bought a random low cap coin, it is probably down. The same principle applies to property assets.

There are lowcap locations and high cap locations. Low caps offer bigger upside and bigger risk. Most people focus on the upside and ignore the risk.

One property I bought for around N250M some years ago is now valued above N600M, mostly because of its location. That is why houses in Ikoyi sell for billions and still get buyers. Yes, some are poorly built by global standards but anyone who understands asset investment knows that is not the point.

Smart investors know they are not just paying for buildings, they are paying for location, access, security, and long term value. Learn the economics of demand and supply as money will always flow to where demand already exists and where growth is inevitable.

A car is NOT a smarter long term investment than a Land. Don’t mistake inflation for appreciation.
