You mean to tell me that the BBC cancelled all of its queer shows in the last few weeks/months and then they announce a docu-series about one of the most hateful transphobic women alive?
BBC cancelling Drag Race, cancelling I kissed a boy/girl, censoring trans supportive messages and then making a whole docuseries about the person who has made life for trans people hell in the UK is certainly very telling @bbcpress@BBC
I'm the only Jewish leader of a political party.
I'm a victim of Antisemitism every day and I've made it clear Jewish people are welcome in my party.
You're a Prime Minister who arms a genocide and locks pensioners up for opposing it.
If a great Irish writer’s books can no longer be published in the UK because she stands with Palestine, the question isn’t what law might Sally Rooney have broken, it’s what sort of country has Britain become. https://t.co/WMiKR25F0Y
Sally Rooney, author of ‘Normal People’ and ‘Conversations with Friends,’ says she is being forced to withdraw her books from being sold in the UK due to her support of the organization Palestine Action:
In a statement to The Guardian she said: “In July 2025, the direct-action protest group Palestine Action was proscribed as a terrorist organisation in the UK. The following month, I wrote an opinion piece expressing my intention to go on supporting Palestine Action, which is not a proscribed or otherwise prohibited group here in the Republic of Ireland.
As a result, the fulfilment of contracts to publish my work in the UK could now constitute a serious criminal offence. After a process of consultation and deliberation, and with my full agreement, my publisher Faber has therefore determined that it can no longer supply my work within the UK. I have made every effort to be honest with the public about my beliefs and intentions, and I am wholly prepared to accept the consequences.”
