No one did the math on Mark Carney’s lie.

So I did some high level numbers.

This is the difference between net revenue & net profit:

Canada financed the entire $6.4 billion Gordie Howe Bridge.

Michigan paid zero.

Under the 2012 signed treaty, Canada kept 100% of the tolls until repaid.

Under Carney’s new deal, published on Canada’s own bridge authority website, the US takes 50% of net revenue for 15 years.

“Net revenue” excludes Canada’s $6.4 billion debt, interest, principal, and depreciation.

That’s roughly $500 million per year Canada absorbs alone,

while the US collects 50% of the revenue anyway.

This deal is so much worse than you can imagine.
