Day 3 is in full swing - today we are discussing establishing and maintaining Tier 2 systems for the students that benefit from targeted interventions. Every student, every day, prepared for success. #mtssb#ethicofcare#forwardtogether
We are preparing for the 22-23 school year this week with school and program teams! Connecting and planning with each other is refreshing. We are moving forward, together. @DStarkey28@HollyMurphy_OPS#ethicofcare#mtssb
It’s #APWeek22 and we are #OPSProud of the tireless efforts of @OmahaPubSchool Assistant Principals. Thank you for all you do for students! It’s a privilege to work alongside you. Every student. Every day. Prepared for success. @DStarkey28@HollyMurphy_OPS
Love seeing school teams integrate SEL into their MTSS-B framework. We can’t respond effectively by seeing behavior as a silo - integrating academic and social-emotional supports ensures our behavior responses are maximally effective. #OPSProud#ethicofcare#mtssb
Professional development led by super star teachers to get us talking about social emotional and how well SEL and multi-tiered systems of support for behavior work together! #BulldogPride 🖤💛
Students earn PRIDE tickets at school and now they can at home! 💙🎉
If you see your child using one of the skills listed, write them out a PRIDE ticket! Have your child bring their tickets back to school to turn in!
We appreciate your support at home! #dundeeproud 🎉
Great job @OPS_NorthHigh for recognizing student success with positive specific feedback and Viking Bucks! #MTSSB practices contribute to a positive school culture, making North High the #place2be!
Hekima makes us #OPSProud! 🌟
We love seeing school leaders integrate wellness into their #MTSS framework. Great job using this strategy to support a positive staff culture, ILP! #staffwellness#mtssb#ethicofcare
The ILP MTSSB committee is focusing on staff wellness this month with our BKIND boards. Check out the board below with the random acts of kindness as a reminder to staff to #bekind! Staff initial the board when they’ve completed an act of kindness! #OPSproud
Active supervision can be a key strategy for improving school culture. How adults move, scan, and interact with students to pre-correct, encourage and correct behavior builds relationships. #mtssb#ethicofcare#activesupervision
@HollyMurphy_OPS got to witness @OPS_Kennedy’s students celebrate meeting their semester 1 Dojo point goals by duct taping Mr. Carlson to a wall. Positive reinforcement helps behavior expectations “stick.” #ethicofcare#mtssb#classdojo
How do you DOJO? @OPS_CatlinArts celebrates student MTSS-B achievements with a DOJO Mojo @ClassDojo cookie of course! Congratulations 🎉 to the Catlin Ss for their achievement and the Catlin staff for promoting/reinforcing + MTSS strategies/structures!
Expectations at @OPS_LauraDodge are clear! The QR codes on signage take you straight to a video modeling the expectations, making teaching & reteaching quick and easy. #MTSSB
Dundee Wildcats have been focusing on using a positive tone of voice these past two weeks!💙🎉
Congratulations to these students for being nominated by their teachers and classmates! #opsproud@OPSMTSSB
We are SO proud of our 4th graders for their excellent behavior at the Nutcracker Ballet on Friday. They demonstrated the 3Bs (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe) and were role models for other schools. It was our first field trip since before COVID-19! #FOCUSproud@OPSMTSSB
Thank you to Mr. Felici, our amazing security guard, for supporting positive behaviors in the hallways and giving out Pride Powers! We are blessed with the best!
#OPSproud#FOCUSproud#PBIS#MTSS
Students at @OPS_BryanMiddle sent Principal Karmazin for a swim (or 15) today! 🏊
Way to be respectful, responsible, safe, and your best! #MTSSB#OPSProud
Students cashed in Dojo Dollars to get to push a staff member pushed into the pool. Mr. Karmazin was the lucky winner of the push. The one pushed turned into 15! Way to showcase your 4 Be's! #BMSBearPride The video will be shared later!
We are #OPSProud of your Cool Cats at @OPS_Washington! Great job using schoolwide recognition systems to promote appropriate behaviors and build community.
