This is an important day for our teachers to learn, plan, and grow—so we can keep providing the very best for our students.

Mark your calendar. We have a late start on Tuesday, September 23rd. We will have a 2 hour late start, so doors will open at 10:35 and classes will start at 10:50. Please do not drop students off before this time. They will be unsupervised prior to the 10:35 start time.

.@OPS_Castelar recently hosted a bilingual storytime to strengthen connections between local child care providers and community schools.

They welcomed nearly 50 children from Patty's Childcare Center in South Omaha for a morning full of early literacy, joy, and imagination.

If you have newborn, infant, or toddler at home, make sure you take advantage of the Castelar Family Engagement team. They have multiple activities to take advantage of this summer. There are 2 opportunities planned for both June & July.

We had an incredible time this weekend at the Cinco de Mayo parade. We are proud of our community and the students that we serve. Castelar was represented with our Student Council, our 5th grade girls volleyball team, and multiple other students, families, and staff. #OPSProud
