Ireland is transposing the EU Pay Transparency Directive into law by 7 June
New rules will force employers to disclose pay ranges in job ads, ban salary history queries, & grant employees the right to request info on average pay for similar roles
* Gender Pay Gap (GPG) Reporting: Existing mandatory reporting for companies with 150+ employees (reducing to 50+ over time) will be expanded, with mandatory joint pay assessments if a gap of 5% or more exists and is not justified.
* If you’ve worked for at least 8 months, you’re entitled to an unbroken period of 2 weeks annual leave.

* Most employees are entitled to 4 working weeks of annual leave each year. This is known as statutory entitlement. ‘Working week’ means the number of days you usually work in a week - if you usually work 3 days a week, your annual leave week is also 3 days.

Calculate 1/3 of working week for each calendar month you worked at least 117 hours
