Developers can often introduce side effects when they apply more than one refactoring (composite refactorings). Our recent study that was accepted in Doctoral Symposium at ICSE'22 (@ICSEconf) reveals recommendations based on the practice to remove and minimize side effects.

Chico Dantas holds a doctorate in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, in collaboration with the University of Lancaster-UK (2013).

Professor Chico Dantas (@chicodantasbr), a former Opus group PhD student, supervised by Professor Alessandro Garcia, took office as Vice-Chancellor of the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (Uern), on the last Tuesday night, Sep, 28th.

From 2016 to 2021, he was the Dean of the Uern Campus in the city of Natal-Brazil and since last Tuesday he holds the position of Uern Vice-Chancellor.
