Meet Gnocchi. 🩶
We are very excited to finally introduce this sweet lady. Gnocchi was found outside at a park on a rainy day. Since being with us we’ve got to watch her personality get bigger and bigger. She is extremely friendly, accepts being held and will even sit for a little snuggle. She is currently in evaluation and will be available for adoption when her pregnancy watch is up.
We will take applications before her evaluation is up so if you’re interested in adopting her please feel free to visit our website for more info.

Focusing on these intelligent, affectionate, and often
misunderstood animals.
Despite their sometimes bad reputation, rats are
incredibly clean, social , and full of personality.
Anyone who has had the joy of sharing their life with
these amazing beings knows just how special they are.
Whether it’s the way they greet you at the door , their
curious and playful antics, their drama, or the way they
will crawl up a sleeve and nap in your clothes !
Rats are highly intelligent and thrive when given
opportunities to engage in natural behaviors like
foraging, climbing and problem-solving. They form
deep bonds with both their human guardians and their
rat companions, showing empathy, trust and even a
sense of humor.
Some things you may not know about rats:
•Rats can bond closely with humans
•They laugh when tickled
•They enjoy music
•They are clean and groom themselves often
•They mourn their friends when they pass, and exhibit
great empathy to their guardians when they are sad
•Rats love to problem solve and work puzzles
•Rats can find tiny bits of food in their enclosure
You know rats are for you if:
•You have time to play with your rats every day
•You have space for a Critter Nation
•You have a Rat savvy vet and a vet fund
•You are willing to make a commitment for 2-3 years
and keep them for their life even when they’re old and
need extra care
•You enjoy interacting with smart animals, and like
when your pet shows affection and are attached to
you.

Easter’s coming, which means it’s time to start talking about the impacts of “easter bunnies”. Every single year thousands of rabbits are bred, sold, suffer and die around Easter. The following weeks after Easter rescues are bombarded with surrender requests. Often times these rabbits are dumped starting colonies of domestic rabbits in neighborhoods and parks that lead to destruction, suffering and death for years if not decades. We hope to educate the public on this issue and prevent this from happening as much as possible.
