This was the very first assignment for my art 1 kids - Sketchbook Cover Designs!

This weekend the Visual Arts State Qualifiers traveled to San Marcos to We had 7 students make state
Out of these 7 students we had 1 who was awarded Gold Seal Medalist - Judith Rodriguez!
We also had 1 receive a scholarship- Francesca Pagliei

Lastly, we have Audrey Buckley! She has been studying impressionist artwork and has used this style of painting in her work, using various different mediums.

So proud of my 3 students who were finalists at the our district Rodeo Art Show! Their artwork will be taken to Houston tomorrow for further judging! Best of luck to them as they await the results to see if their artwork will be shown at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
