The Osun State Ease of Doing Business council held its first council meeting for year 2022 on Wednesday, May 18, 2022:

Osun’s participation in the PEBEC/WorldBank $750m USD SABER program was presented to the council.

The secretary of council, Mr. Femi Adeniran who is the CEO of OSIPA and SA to the Governor in his presentation gave an UPDATE on key interventions and the progress made by the state through OSIPA on parameters and targets set by PEBEC and @nipcng

The Chairman of Council, Gov @GboyegaOyetola who was represented by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Charles Akinola (@OgidanAkinola) in his opening address expressed appreciations for the progress recorded by the state in the Subnational Ease of Doing Business Ranking.

Osun Investment Promotion Agency (OSIPA) on behalf of Governor @GboyegaOyetola received the visiting team of @nipcng (Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission) Abuja & Ibadan zonal offices at the OSIPA building, Governors Office Osogbo.

OSIPA CEO and SA to the Governor, Mr @femiadeniran acknowledged the presence of the delegates by reaffirming the vision of Goverrnor Oyetola on turning Osun into a desired Investment destination.

The delegates also visited Kasmo Soap Factory and Abiola Electrical Machinery Company Limited respectively and had meetings with their management to feel their pulse while offering advise on the necessary steps to imbibe towards improving their businesses in a sustainable form.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss Trade and Investment Opportunities between British Businesses and Investors and Osun.
