Salty citizens of lesser-protected countries have found a new pastime of criticizing the Makkah Defense Alliance, in a "grapes are sour" situation, whereas when asked their leaders will be the first to beg to allow their countries into the Alliance.
This alliance is one of the most important alliances in the region and will be solely responsible for collective and regional security dividends for decades!
The submission of the entire text of the Makkah Defense Alliance by Turkiye to its Parliament was done with the consent of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan had already ratified this agreement under Article 90 of our Constitution.
The Middle East is currently experiencing severe instability driven by various factors. Amidst this uncertainty, the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement serves as a vital and robust pillar for defense, peace, and stability in the region.
