We are 2๏ธโฃ days away from the 19th annual Russell Klein Research Symposium. Our annual symposium is held to honor the legacy of Dr. Russ Klein. In 2003, Dr. Klein joined the Human Nutrition Department as an Assistant Professor & interdisciplinary nutrition & cancer researcher.
Dr. Klein was dedicated to developing nutrition scientists and helped launch the Nutrition and Cancer course still being offered to nutrition graduate students today. In 2006, Dr. Klein lost his battle to acute leukemia.
