Em Catalão, um jovem aprendiz foi agredido dentro do próprio trabalho por um policial militar porque, segundo o agente, teria “encarado a polícia”.

As imagens mostram tapas no rosto, o adolescente jogado ao chão, uma arma apontada para ele e ameaças de morte: “Você tem que morrer.”

Enquanto apanhava, o garoto repetia: “Eu só vim trabalhar, senhor.”

Isso não é abordagem. Não é segurança pública. É um adolescente sendo aterrorizado por quem deveria protegê-lo.

O policial foi detido. Agora, é preciso investigação rigorosa, proteção à vítima e responsabilização. Não basta divulgar uma nota e reduzir tamanha violência a um simples “desvio de conduta”.

A Polícia Militar é subordinada ao governador. Caiado usa a segurança pública como vitrine política; portanto, precisa responder também quando a farda é usada para agredir e ameaçar de morte.

Não existe segurança quando quem deveria proteger se torna a ameaça.
