Our 1st Annual OTE Cultural Night was a hit! Organized by the PTO, students grabbed their passports and traveled around to 20+ different countries, all of which are represented in our @OTECougars community. A special night of celebration indeed! We love OTE!

Thank you to all who came out for our annual PTO Bingo for Books night. What a great turnout! There was a lot of fun had playing Bingo by kids & adults & 100’s of books that went home with OTE families.

Today we had an honored OTE tradition, our Veterans Day Assembly. We welcomed special Veterans connected to OTE & celebrated their service. Our Cougar Chorus sang, the KU ROTC presented the colors & spoke to the kids and a trumpeter from BVN closed with Taps. Thank you Veterans!

The @BVEdFoundation always puts on an impressive Community Breakfast. Our PTO representatives & a few shining @OTECougars staff were able to attend. The big treat, watching @OTEAnderson beautifully perform “Hero” to a packed house! The future is bright at OTE. 😎

Shout out to the @OTECougars Garden Club! The district dropped off some mulch & the Garden Club spread the mulch, pulled some weeds & trimmed back some over growth. Thank you to our Landscaping Committee Co-Chairs and to all the volunteers for helping to keep OTE looking great!

Tonight, our PTO will celebrate our 22/23 Board & Committee Chairs. It takes a lot of help for the PTO to put on its many events & to support and connect our school community. These individuals were generous leaders this year. THANK YOU for making this a great year at OTE!

The PTO held a reception today to celebrate our OTE Alumni who are graduating high school this year. There was a great turnout of excited seniors who perused old yearbooks, walked the now much smaller seeming halls and visited with former teachers. Congrats to the class of 2023!
