NVIDIA announces the first open humanoid robot reference design built for robotics research.
The NVIDIA Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot combines the @UnitreeRobotics H2 humanoid robot, @SharpaRobotics Wave five-fingered hands for dexterous manipulation, Jetson Thor onboard compute, and Isaac GR00T open software and models, giving researchers a full-stack platform from data capture to model deployment.

Professor Inaba Masayuki, who has supported and encouraged me since my early days as a professor, visited our lab today.
Some friendships and mentorships continue across decades.
And yes… he got a sneak peek at a few of our secret projects. 😙🙏

Figure is going live around 11am PT today with an 8-hour livestream of our robots running at human speeds
This will be fully autonomous on Helix-02 w/ zero human intervention
The robots will work together to keep operations running nonstop
I’ll share the link soon
Tried running GentleHumanoid in mjswan.
Packaging the MuJoCo scene, replaying motions, and running the tracking policy in the browser was surprisingly straightforward.
Big thanks to @ttktjmt !

Vietnam’s most advanced humanoid robot shows off its newly enhanced bipedal locomotion in new footage shared by VinMotion.
The subsidiary of VinGroup, Vietnam’s largest conglomerate, emerged in June 2025 with its first bipedal humanoid robot, the Motion1. VinMotion says it designed the humanoid to fit into existing workflows, starting with light-duty industrial tasks like material transport, visual inspections, and basic assembly support on factory floors. The project was backed by $39 million in initial funding.
