Giving children in Pittsburgh area schools the opportunity to plant at least one tree during their time in school. Inspiring kids to protect our environment.
Every single positive action counts! #planting a #tree is one of the most important things we can do to help combat #climatechange. And we can all be part of it!
Hundreds of students are at #Pittsburgh’s City-County Building on this #ClimateAction Day.
We know the danger of ignoring climate. See our @resilientPGH Plan & how we’ve changed from a smokey city that was “hell with the lid off” to a sustainable future: https://t.co/CaIuYxaaB6

As @JonDeeOz beautifully says it in this video, it does not make sense that we continue to destroy amazing forests like this one...Look for @FSC_IC certified paper, furniture, and other products when you buy: https://t.co/kmCZ7HMvvV
Allegheny County loses about 600 trees a day.
Trees are a #SDoH, worthy of investment for all the reasons outlined.
And planting trees together in communities can be a social act, neighbors coming together, costs & labor shared among many @onetreepitt
