A train full of strangers. One tiny passenger. And a reminder of the India many of us hope exists.
As a little dog slept peacefully through the journey, no one chased it away or made it feel unwelcome.
Instead, fellow passengers quietly looked out for it. When it stayed still for too long, complete strangers checked if it was okay.
No applause. No cameras. Just ordinary people choosing kindness.
Maybe that's the India worth celebrating. Not because it's perfect, but because moments like these remind us who we can be.

Here's a way to be a humane dog hater -
> Call local municipal authority/buildimg association and have them facilitate or initiate a vaccination drive to protect the "elderly".
> Younger dogs can be neutered (again an initiative that local NGOs and municipal body should help with). You'd have to follow up a lot.
> Allow the feeders to do what they do, chances are most of the dogs in your area are vaccinated and neutered thanks to them.
> Reflect on why you'd rather force starve a species when there are abundant resources to help them and help you. Just takes more effort than a tweet.
Why do most of the policemen or women think they are above the citizens while wearing uniforms, most of them misbehave in public, instil fear and act as judiciary. Bribery, corruption, misdemeanour is very common that people barely trust them.
Today on flag day, again I want to raise the issue of polyester and plastic flag ban, it only generates waste.
We can use and reuse cotton khadi flags which are recommended also small paper flags with bamboo sticks like we use to get in shops few years ago instead of plastic ones
In any other sector those who can’t work properly are removed but why not in public sector
there must be separate news channels and local news papers reporting daily corruption in public offices reporting the names of people involved and departments taking bribes with evidences.
Why do parties give important positions to incompetent people and keep giving/selling tickets to corrupt and illiterate candidates who then coming into power try to fill their own pockets instead of working, voters only get few handpicked corrupt options to choose from
It’s very craży that 70-80 year olds are generally seen as unemployable due to physical and mental decline BUT we're allowing them to run our ENTIRE country.
Borneo’s orangutans, Assam’s elephants — wildlife across the world is fighting a losing battle against bulldozers, greed, and habitat destruction.
They may fall, but their struggle will remain a painful reminder of humanity’s cruelty towards the planet.
