I bet you’re tired from a long hard week: Super Bowl Sunday is finally here! The NCAA prohibits student-athletes/staff from placing a wager on any sport sponsored by the NCAA at any level. This means putting something at risk with a chance to win something in return. #DontBetOnIt
Football Christmas is upon us, please don’t forget to check your NLI instructions list, sign them twice, and most importantly make sure all of your times have an A.M. or P.M. along with them to avoid ending up on Santa’s naughty list
Reminder: coaches and staff may not have direct or indirect contact with a PSA from another institution until his/her name appears in the NCAA transfer portal database. Just because an SA posts their intent to transfer on social media does not mean it is OK to contact them
Fun Fact Friday: Once a prospective student-athlete (PSA) has committed to an institution by signing a financial aid agreement/NLI or accepting a written offer of admission, the contact restrictions in Bylaw 13.1 and dead periods no longer apply to the PSA
Happy Signing Day! Remember dont sign until 7:00 am in your locale, put date in month/day/year format, & have your parent/legal guardian print name, sign, and check parent/legal guardian box
Coaches/Staff: don’t publicly comment until you receive confirmation from compliance :)
