Mis-selling by Banks of insurance, Bonds etc- A video documentary by @1FinanceHQ
An hour long video with a single msg that Banks and their RMs are mis-selling / cheating u by selling unsuitable Insurance, Bonds, also mutual funds
And Regulators RBI @RBI, SEBI @SEBI_India and IRDAI are turning a blind eye to it?

GST implementation in India has been a very radical and progressive reform in India.
The way it has been managed and now on getting larger scale, recast again in a simpler and lower rates format is great credit to Indian govt and Indian businesses for adopting it so positively. 🙏
Seems AMFI @amfiindia has acted and stopped MF Central @MFCentral_India from sharing client data with third parties says @ActusDei . As always Neil shares the newsbreak first. 🙏
Currently Mutual Fund data was easily accessible by third parties (including but not limited to Fintechs) and this rumor that Neil has slantly alluded of Jio Blackrock MF having client data is scandalous and hopefully untrue. But this does not nullify the risk and the reality that MF client data is prone to risk of access by third parties and misuse
I had highlighted this risk to MF client data in Dec 2024 and if this report/newsbreak of Neil is correct, then AMFI seems to have acted on it. Fintechs may and will cry foul, but client data cannot be shared and then misused by Fintechs or any third party. Sharing of data even with client consent can and should only happen with strong safeguards and regulations. Currently there are none or very minimal
Mutual Fund client data has to have safeguards similar to how account aggregators and Credit Score data is subjected to. Strong guidelines that SEBI @SEBI_India and/or AMFI @amfiindia should put in place. Currently there are no such guidelines either by SEBI or AMFI.
Third parties cannot store such client data or use it for any other purpose except the stated purpose and have to purge the data (in a specified short time) even if they take it with client consent

With the kind low/bad customer service now seen on Amazon India @amazonIN especially for large purchases, I would now hesitate to buy anything large here
So many cases of no refunds, no return pickups, defective items not being taken back, incorrect items, incorrect botty comments
How the mighty Amazon has fallen in standards in India!
Amazon India seems to have become a fraud website in India of not doing refund
Buying large value items on Amazon @amazonIN has become a pain!
Amazon India sends defective items
They then promise a return pickup and don't pick it up
And then don't refund the money for days!
Strange to see Amazon India @amazonIN lose all its credibility completely in India!
Amazon is dying in India!
Mutual Fund / Securities KYC norms again get tweaked. Made easier now
a) Extension of KYC of NRIs to 30th April 2026
b) Email or Mobile needs to be validated if you want to transact
c) Exit Option to Existing clients will be available if their Email is not verified
KYC of financial securities markets is such a "lakkad Bagga" changing its shape and form, but never simple, never easy and never common across all financial instruments
FinMin @FinMinIndia@nsitharaman Pls help initiate a simple common KYC for all financial products
Chronology of Vir Das and Air India story
1) Vir Das @thevirdas says Air India @airindia crew is nice 😊
2) Says Air Hostess and crew member didn't help his wife (fractured leg) at all while deplaning and just looked at him clueless 😡
3) No one from Air India shows up to help on ground 😡😡
4) Air India says Air Crew definitely tried to help him. Not denied Wheelchair but just delayed.. 😇 due to unusually high demand of wheelchairs (though pre-booked but doesn't matter)
5) Vir Das says Air Line is "nicest" 😊and Air India is his first choice🤗. Just that Planes and ground arrangements need to be better 😜
All's Well that ends Well. Both parties love each other!
This analysis by Nilesh bhai @NileshShah68 seems to be very incorrect
You cannot claim past capital gains set off by becoming an NRI today and say all my past capital gains are now not payable
The investment has to be made when you are an NRI and only those can be claimed
India has to move to make it more seamless process for both NRIs and residents
Pls do not think that NRIs are having a free lunch or they are being pampered. In fact speak to NRIs and one will find that India can do more to make it more seamless experience for them
